Thurston Wolfe www.thurstonwolfe.com is the Yeaman family winery. Family owned and operated since 1987.  It is one of the most prestigious small wineries in Washington State.  Owner, wine maker and winery production manager, Wade Wolfe, Michael’s brother-in-law, is regarded as the Washington State’s most important and knowledgeable viticulturist. Michael’s sister Becky led the winery sales program since the beginning, passing the reins to her son Josh in 2022.

Michael became part of Thurston Wolfe when he returned to the PNW in 2004.  He and his wife soon became regional sales managers in the San Juan Islands.  In addition, Michael has directly participated in harvest, crush and blend selection for many years.  In recognition of his efforts and family commitment, Thurston Wolfe has named its prized Bordeaux blend after him:
