The Orcas Island Classics Film Series, created by Michael Yeaman in 2019, shows a diverse set of classic films based on a unifying theme. The Series is screened every winter on Orcas Island, free of charge to attendees, thanks to generous donors. Michael curates and hosts each film; introducing and setting its context, then vacillating discussion with the audience afterwards. He is focused on creating an interactive/discussive environment in which to enjoy these memorable films.  Yeaman held his first mini film series at his junior high school when he was 14. He is a charter Criterion Channel member and his attire is always a “classic” smoking jacket and cap. This series is part of the nationally renowned Orcas Island Film Festival (OIFF).
